The Role:
You will be primarily involved in supporting the Technical Manager to deliver the design/technical services for the Pre-Cast Beams project, while also giving assistance/support in document management/controlling to managers in other disciplines.
- Technical and practical problem-solving skills relative to Pre-Cast Beams and other structures.
- Organise and exercise document controlling activities for all the documentation related to the project across the SHQE, Production, Operations and Technical departments (RFIs, comments, revisions, etc)
- Revision of CAD documentation according to client requirements
- 3D modelling for BIM interoperability if applicable (AutoCAD/TEKLA)
- Give support in any other area of expertise as required by the Technical Manager

Main Responsibilities
- Assist in the revision of 2D/3D documentation of the project to produce Pre-Cast Beams
- Assist in coordinating communication between parties involved in the project
- Give structure and organisation to the project documentation, make the team members aware of these

changes
- Troubleshoot any faults or problems in the document controlling process and identify areas for

improvement or training
- Engage with design teams and drive a continuous improvement culture
- Assist in improving the efficiency and quality of the design processes and procedures within all areas of

manufacturing.
- Assisting managers from different disciplines in RFIs related to design/technical aspects of the project
- Providing strong and effective cross-functional links and communication between all departments.
- Set and achieve high quality standards in all facets of the production phase.
- Coordinating the project information from the office to the workshop production team.
- Take reasonable care not to put yourself, other people/fellow employees, and members of the public at

risk by what you do or do not do in the course of your work.
- Co-operate with your line manager, making sure you get proper training, and you understand and

follow the company's health and safety policies.
- Report any injuries, strains, or illnesses you suffer because of doing your job, this may require a change

in the way you work.
