We are currently seeking individuals with previous experience within the aviation industry to join our busy Ground Handling Team. You should have a comprehensive knowledge of airline operational procedures and at least 1 year of experience in Ramp Operations.

As an experienced member of the team we would be looking for you to represent Bournemouth Airport in a professional manner and to take the lead in ensuring safe working practices. You will also be required to perform key tasks independently whilst remaining under the direction of the nominated Ramp Supervisor.

**Key Requirements**:

- A comprehensive knowledge of airline operational procedures
- At least 1 year of experience in Ramp Operations
- Must be trained in the use of Airside Ramp equipment to include Pushback, Headset, Aircraft Marshalling and Hi-Loader as a minimum; and be able to provide evidence of training/certification from previous employer(s).
- In depth knowledge of Ramp Operations procedures
- Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Ability to understand & communicate in the English Language
- Ability to travel to the airport at times where public transport is not available
- Willingness to work in inclement weather
- A full driving license
- There is an element of manual handling of materials including pushing and pulling of equipment and repeatedly lifting up to 32kg throughout a shift. You will need to be physically fit and able to carry out this role.

**What’s on offer**:
Rate of pay is £13.57 per hour - £28,225 per annum for a 40 hour week, or £21,169 for a 30 hour week.

**All applicants must have the right to work in the UK, undertake a DBS check and provide 5 years of checkable referencing history.**
