Summary

Responsible for assisting with the management of Counterparty, Capital and Funding risks for the XVA Trading Desk. This includes trading within authorised trading limits on the XVA Trading desk, pricing the various adjustments for the GMD derivatives business, improving the infrastructure of XVA computations as well as assisting with the ongoing improvement of XVA pricing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the key XVA desk mandates pricing of XVAs, risk management of XVAs and optimisation of Scarce Resources.
- Participate actively in methodology improvements concerning XVAs: development of new models, parameterisations, quantitative studies.
- Report to the Head of XVA Trading Desk on Market activity impacting XVAs, and other related issues.
- Development of the XVA Desk ecosystem and infrastructure, using new technologies where applicable.

Niveau d'étude minimum

Bac

Formation / Spécialisation

Degree, preferably in a Mathematical / Scientific area, or A-levels followed by appropriate market relevant working experience

Soft skills

Essential:Team oriented.Excellent communication skills and able to coordinate effectively with other Senior Managers, Sales, Structurers and Quants.Ability to think quickly, make decisions using good judgement and prioritise in busy trading situations.Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Desirable:Competent in a second language.

Outils informatiques

Essential experience:Experience in financial products related trading/ risk management activities.Experience leading in a senior capacity for Trading and Risk Management.Experience in all aspects of managing a team.
Desirable experience:Experience in trading and risk managing a trading book, where applicable. Essential: IT literate.Thorough knowledge of financial derivatives including market liquidity (ability to enter or exit a position) and volatility (magnitude / speed of price change), pricing and trading/hedging strategies.Strong numerical, analytical and spreadsheet skills.
