Research Associate or Research Fellow in Evidence

**Overview of the post**
We wish to appoint an exceptional research associate or research fellow, depending on experience. The post holder will develop, conduct and report evidence synthesis work, including proposals for submission to research funders, all in relation to health and social care. The research associate or fellow would take on responsibility for developing and co-ordinating a programme of evidence synthesis.
The successful applicant will have skills in quantitative and qualitative research approaches together with an ability to find and critically appraise research and summarise bodies of research accurately. They will work within a team of researchers, as part of the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Greater Manchester (ARC-GM). This is a full-time post and will be based in the School of Health Sciences in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health. There will be an opportunity for hybrid working, a combination of home working and office-based working at the University of Manchester campus on Oxford Road, with the expectation that travel to Manchester and other areas for work-related reasons are viable on a regular basis.
