**What you'll do**:
The planning liaison team deal with all types of new development and is a central point of contact for developers, councils, and the public.

As the Planning Liaison Technical Co-ordinator, you will:

- triage planning liaison and network capacity enquiries from members of the public, developers and local planning authorities relating to water supply and sewerage matters
- provide technical response relating to water supply and sewerage matters to developers and local planning authorities for minor schemes (10 dwellings or less)
- provide support to the Planning Liaison Team on new development proposals, planning policy, strategic development plans and population projections for other parts of the business.

**What you'll need**:
To be successful in this role, you will be a good communicator, be able to work on your own initiative, prioritise enquiries and formulate appropriate responses.
- are willing to learn diverse technical skills
- has an interest in the UK Planning system and development of communities
- are interested in the operation of drainage and water supply networks
- have good geographic skills and emerging knowledge of GIS systems and databases.
