**The Role**:
To promote, develop and establish a positive safety culture within the company so that it can meet its legal requirements in terms of Health, Safety and Compliance.

To take responsibility for Operational matters relating to Health and Safety and Compliance for properties within the portfolio and to provide competent support to staff.

The post holder will report to the Operations Manager and will be the primary point of contact with the company for Compliance matters.

**Main Duties**:

- Day to day administration duties such as taking and resolving incoming calls, compiling and sending appointment letters to tenants, updating files, data input, and liaison with local authority clients and third-party contractors.
- Managing property compliance documents to include:

- Gas Safety Certificates
- NICEIC Electrical certificates
- Energy Performance Certificates
- Emergency lighting certificatesFire Safety administration:

- Maintaining annual fire inspection certificates
- Organising a route for the Fire Alarm testing officer’s weekly tests
- Maintaining a database of fire safety inspections & accompanying fire safety logbooks
- Checking property inspection reports for any fire safety issues and taking the appropriate actions to rectify
- Preparation of a schedule of works for any issues which are identified by Local Authority Environmental Health teams
- Investigation and resolution of any Environmental Health complaints
- Consult with external contractors in respect of gas safety, electrical, water hygiene, asbestos, electrical and other
- compliance requirements.
- To maintain existing databases for Health & Safety compliance certification and ensure that this is closely monitored throughout the year, and to draw issues of non-compliance to the attention of the Operations Manager and/or Head of Maintenance
- Establish, develop, and maintain records of site visits and inspections
- Uploading all certificates onto AMS and server.
- Obtain approval for invoices of completed certificates from Line Manager.
**Skills & Knowledge required**
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain appropriate professional boundaries
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar roleExcellent organizational skills and ability to prioritise work
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a high-pressured environment
- Close attention to detail
- A proficiency in the use of MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of HMO’s and Council Tax is an additional benefit
- Have a pragmatic, logical approach to problem solving.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
