**Purpose of Statement**:
The Production Chargehand will be responsible and accountable for the safe and effective running of production lines and work areas, ensuring all health, safety and quality procedures are being adhered to. Reporting to the Front Line Managers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To ensure the production plan is carried out, reporting any problems or deviations from the plan with the Front Line Manager in a timely manner.
- Coordinating Tier 1 Escalation Meetings and ensuring associated actions are completed.
- To ensure all start-ups and product changes are carried out efficiently and safely.
- To highlight any raw material issues related to the completion of the production plan and implement agreed solutions where possible.
- To ensure the agreed quality standards are achieved for products, and all relevant quality checks are carried out and documented to the agreed procedure.
- Accurately restock and record downtime.
- Report any deviations from standards to QC immediately.
- To monitor and input all production and waste figures onto SAP, reporting any excessive waste issues immediately to the Front Line Manager.
- Accurate issuing of materials.
- To support and where necessary train other personnel working on the line/in the area and document formal training when required.
- To be responsible for the health and safety of production personnel within your work area, ensuring that all H&S documentation is completed as required i.e. Unsafe Condition forms.
- Using PC’s to access Outlook, Word and Excel documents relative to the role and Pirana.
- To act as a Fire Marshal within your area, documenting the weekly audits, and oversee the fire evacuation process within in the work area.
- To ensure housekeeping is to the agreed standards, and to take the necessary actions when it falls below standard.
- To implement the line operator maintenance and tooling maintenance when required, carrying out minor mechanical maintenance tasks as agreed - Under no circumstances must any electrical maintenance work be carried out.
- To fully participate in training and personal development as required.
- To understand all performance results for the line and area, positively participating in Improvement Teams, proposing and implement improvements that relate to H&S, quality and productivity.
- Attending continuous improvement meetings when required.
- Adhere to Kingspan policies and procedures.
- You may be expected to do any work that is required, which is commensurate with your capabilities and experience, and you may be required to undertake other tasks, which are reasonably asked of you.

**Compliance**:

- Adhere to the company’s compliance obligations, policies, processes, and procedures.
- Report compliance concerns, issues, and failures.
- Participate in training as required.
- Previous experience in a production environment.
- Qualified First Aider and Fire Marshal.
- PC literate with experience of using SAP.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to working patterns, which are likely to change over time to meet business demands.
- You may be expected to do any work that is required, which is commensurate with your capabilities and experience, and you may be required to undertake other tasks, which are reasonably asked of you. Duties will change over time and the job holder will be expected to cooperate where such changes are reasonable.
