Sherwood’s have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to become part of our ever-growing team. We are now seeking a Trainee Estimator who will assist with the production of quotes from our Head Office in Newton Abbot. Assisting our senior estimators and team leaders, you'll ensure that all internal and external SLAs and quality requirements for our estimates are achieved. You will also liaise with field staff and sub-contractors to ensure information is gained to enable viable, accurate and cost-effective estimates are offered to our clients.

We're not necesarily looking for you to have experience in this field, but if you have knowledge of or experience in the building maintenance field, this wil be a huge advantage. What will be essential is a high level of attention to detail, the abiity to work to exacting deadlines and you'll need excellent numeracy and literacy skills. A good knowledge of Excel and being adept at picking up bespoke IT packages is essential.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Support our operations team with reactive uplift estimation, to include information gathering, estimate construction and submission to the client
- Liaise with sub-contractors in relation to estimates
- Assist with contract reviews to enable renewal of existing PPM contracts
- Work with our clients to tailor estimates to their individual needs
- Assist, our operations team where required, with mobilisation of works that you have estimated and had approved
- Utilise our CRM system to ensure estimate information is kept up to date and to ensure all estimates are completed in a timely manner
