Our client is seeking an attentive and competent Sous Chef, who has previous kitchen experience, to join the Head Chef within the small team of their new fine dining restaurant. You will be responsible in supporting the Head Chef to provide a high qualityof food service and cleanliness.

**Please note, all applicants are required to be fully vaccinated against covid-19**

Hour of work: 37.5 hours a week, working every other weekend
Annual Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Once fully trained, there will be requirements to start in the early hours or finish later at night. **It is therefore essential that applicants are flexible with their hours of work.**
- Ensure the dining experience is of the highest standard and quality.
- Ensure nutritional content of meals caters for individuals dietary needs.
- Liaise with guests to ensure they are happy with the service provided.
- Ensure that food levels are correct and in line with budgets.
- Ensure any requirements from internal and external audits are actioned within timescales.
- Support Head Chef with stock control of crockery, cutlery and glassware.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure maximum value and service are being provided.
- Actively engage with guests in meaningful conversation and I a way that values the individual and respects their dignity.
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and hygiene standards are achieved and maintained.
- You will be required for this role to potentially lift heavy objects.

**Requirements**:

- NVQ level 3 in Food Hygiene
- Minimum 2 years previous experience
- Health and Safety Knowledge
