**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
- Clean and sanitise kennels, play areas, and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Monitor the behaviour and health of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff.
- Assist with administering medications as directed by veterinary professionals.
- Interact with pet owners to provide updates on their pets’ well-being and answer any questions.
- Perform heavy lifting when required, such as moving supplies or assisting with larger animals.
- Mentor and train staff
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and activities.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in animal care or veterinary settings is essential.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the day.
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing excellent care.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Level 3 in animal care preferably with management experience in an animal care setting.
