Are you passionate about antiques and eager to work in a unique and charming environment? The Antique Village Devon is seeking a new team member to join our dynamic sales desk. Located in the heart of Devon, our antique shop is a treasure trove of history and craftsmanship, and we're looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for the world of antiques.

**Position**: Sales Desk Associate
**Location**: The Antique Village Devon, Devon, UK

**Working hours**:
Part-time permanent 2 days per week from 9:30 - 4:30. **Saturdays** plus one other day of the week as the staff rota dictates.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Sales Desk Associate, you will play a pivotal role in our store's success.
- Welcoming and assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases.
- Providing help and information about the antiques we offer.
- Handling sales transactions, including cash, credit cards, and electronic payments.
- Maintaining a tidy and organized sales desk area.
- Assisting with inventory management and restocking merchandise.
- Contributing to the overall ambiance and customer experience within the store.

**Requirements**:

- Passion for antiques and a desire to learn more about them.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Previous retail or sales experience is a plus but not required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £7.49-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 14 per week
