Our client are looking to recruit a **Service Engineer**to join their dedicated Workshop team in **Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk**. You will join on a **full-time, permanent**basis, and in return, you will receive **a competitive salary plus benefits.**

**About the role**:
As the **Service Engineer**, you will be responsible for repairing and servicing products from the diverse range of power tools and workshop equipment, as well as PAT testing relevant items.

**What the company are looking for in their Service Engineer**:

- Experience diagnosing and correcting faults on electrical equipment, motors, control circuits and basic electronics
- Experience working on pneumatic tools and equipment
- Experience in servicing/replacing air motor parts, control switches and pumps
- Experience servicing and repairing low voltage/cordless hand tools
- Experience with Portable Appliance Testing
- Previous experience of servicing of LPG heaters and direct diesel fired space warmers
- A great team ethic, alongside the ability to work autonomously
- A methodical approach to work
- The ability to problem solve
- An understanding of, or interest in our clients range of products
- A flexible and professional attitude to work
- A full, clean driving licence
- Experience with motor vehicle fault diagnosis tools and equipment would be a distinct advantage
