**WHO ARE WE?** Founded in London in 2019, PURESEOUL is the UK's No.1 specialist store for all things K-Beauty We pride ourselves on working directly with some of Korea's most beloved beauty brands to offer an unbeatable selection of skincare & makeup must-haves. **JOB OVERVIEW** **Title**: Assistant Buyer - Korean Beauty **Schedule**:Full-time **Location**:North London Warehouse (Brent Cross) As the newest member of our purchasing team, this role will offer you the chance to gain experience managing large budgets in an exciting niche beauty market. You’ll be working directly with some of Korea’s top beauty brands such as; rom&nd, Some By Mi and Isntree just to name a few. If you love Korean beauty and have existing experience or qualifications in the buying industry, then this is the ultimate job for you **Main Duties and Responsibilities** - Assist the Head Buyer with the creation and management of purchase orders - Participate in brand communications, including negotiations of margin, promotions, markdown support e.t.c - Communicate confidently in spoken and written Korean when required - Aid the Head Buyer with the creation and implementation of new purchasing strategies. - Create detailed trend forecasting reports to help identify new products, ranges, and brands. - Assist with the management of shipments, including tasks such as arrangement and negotiation of freight services - Create detailed sales reports for both our online and offline sales channels for review. - Undertake regular competitor shopping analysis reporting - Work with the Head Buyer and retail team to analyse data, and make informed stock recommendations - Coordinate with the warehouse team to prepare relevant documentation such as packing lists and arranging shipment times **WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR** - Confidence in speaking business Korean (TOPIK II Level 3/4 and above) - Previous purchasing experience in the beauty industry OR relevant educational qualifications (such as a level 3 or BA in buying) - Proficiency in Excel and equivalent software - An avid and passionate user of Korean beauty products - Have proactive awareness of current K-Beauty internet trends and influencers - Exceptional numeracy and analytical skills - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining good attention to detail **JOB PERKS & BENEFITS** - Opportunity to attend industry-related events on company-paid trips - Comfy and casual dress code - Company events, parties and team dinner nights - Unlimited access to a free company pantry of yummy Korean snacks, ramen, and assorted beverages - Opportunities to be directly involved with product sampling/testing - Employee discounts across our online and offline stores. **Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year Schedule: - Monday to Friday Application question(s): - What is your English speaking level?
