- Your Impact_
- As Fulfilment Manager you will manage the daily operations of the Fulfilment Department, from order processing to stock management. You will be responsible for keeping all members of the team fully aware of all activities within the department and widerbusiness, striving to meet peak demand at our busiest times of the year. Demonstrate the ability to lead the Fulfilment Department with strong metrics across operational KPIs. You will drive and oversee the Fulfilment functionalities, whilst taking full ownershipof all the associated processes to ensure that everything is running smoothly, evolving, and optimised._
- Key Responsibilities_
- _Be accountable for daily operations of the Fulfilment Department, ensuring all orders are picked, packed and dispatched in accordance with SLAs._
- _Manage all escalated order discrepancies and complex queries._
- _Schedule and oversee stock/inventory checks and investigate discrepancies._
- _Report on any issues affecting the daily operation of the department to the Head of Fulfilment._
- _Demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt to changing business requirements while leading an engaged team to achieve the highest possible levels of operational performance._
- _Work closely with the Head of Fulfilment to ensure the department is prepared for periods of increased sales, ensuring the department is fully resourced to meet demand._
- _Ensure regular replenishment checks are performed by the Fulfilment Supervisor, monthly supplies checks are conducted, all packaging supplies are received and checked by Quality Control._
- _Responsible for the booking in all incoming stock, ensuring all stock is accounted for and stored in the correct bays, ready for picking._
- _Become a 'super user’ of the order processing software, utilising the tools to their full potential in the aim of optimising the department functions._
- _Drive the performance of the team, ensuring continued engagement, KPI's are met, and hold staff performance reviews._
- _Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all staff._
- _Ad-hoc tasks outside of the general scope of work_
- Skills & requirements:_
- _2+ years in managing a Fulfilment environment_
- _Experience working in a fast paced and complex organisation_
- _Commercial awareness, experience in implementing new systems, change management, business process improvements, and leadership_
- _Excellent IT & Numeracy skills, the ability to use WMS, IT systems and spreadsheets is key_
- _Logistics background /experience would be desirable._
