RMS Recruitment are excited to be working in partnership with a renowned and respected automotive manufacturer and recruiting for an Fork Lift Driver/Stores Operative to be based in Peterlee.

**Responsibilities and duties include**:

- Providing support to engineering and manufacturing operations
- Monitoring plant central systems and carry out in-house tooling refurbishment.
- Complete regular monthly stocktakes and report inventory levels to Finance Department.
- Generate purchase requisitions, record revenue spends and track status of outstanding deliveries.
- Initiate internal workflow requests for high value purchase order terms and conditions and legal compliance confirmation.
- Support internal and external finance stocktake audits
- Monitor performance and condition of central plant filtration and waste management systems.
- Provide general FLT support for manufacturing operations.
- Operate special purpose grinding machines for internal tooling refurbishment.
- Identify tooling cost reduction / improvement activities.
- Manage external contractors.
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
- Abrasive wheel regulations.
- Functional skills Level 2 or GCSE Maths and English
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Self-starter, flexible approach and capable of managing own workload.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- IT skills, including all MS Office suite and inventory management systems.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
