You will work alongside a dedicated multi-disciplinary team of consultants, doctors and nurses in the Colposcopy Unit at Kingston Hospital, providing expertise in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire process is managed smoothly.

The work is fast-paced and can be complex but you will have the opportunity to support our patients and make sure they receive the best possible care. To do this you will need to be able to work in a calm, logical way and be able to multi-task as each day can be different and challenging.

Colposcopy Administrator - Band 4

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management and co-ordination of the Colposcopy Service.

Providing administrative and secretarial support, with particular responsibility for ensuring that complete and accurate patient activity data is collected and entered on to the Colposcopy Database System in a timely manner.

The post holder will work as part of a small team across the Trust and will ensure the relevant national and local policies are adhered to and targets are met. The post involves dealing with patient information and therefore confidentiality is of the utmost importance.

You will ensure provision of a high-quality service for patients and clinical staff by being an approachable, patient focused and a knowledgeable point of contact. You will make sure administration work is of a consistently high standard across the Trust using Standard Operating Procedures to ensure functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales.
