Due to the continued growth of the business we have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Administrator with a caring nature to join our friendly Children and Young People's team of within our Care in the Home division. You will be supporting the Registered Manager and Care Coordinator providing comprehensive administrative support and will be trained to cover for the Care Coordinator during holidays and sickness, which could include being part of an on call rota

Our care in the home services support children and young people with a wide range of conditions, including: brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological conditions and neurodegenerative diseases, respiratory conditions and gastro-intestinal conditions, including percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) feeding.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Providing a comprehensive administrative support service in a confidential manner
- Act as first point of contact for all communications and deal with appropriately, escalating where required, including exchange of sensitive information.
- Booking and attending meetings, including minute taking
- Comfortable working both in a busy office and on your own at times
- Inbound and outbound calls to both clients and workers to check welfare and the cover of shifts
- Keeping the Registered Manger and Care Coordinator updated with anything business critical that happens within the team daily
- Ability to provide and receive complex, sensitive, and contentious information and communicate effectively with staff at all levels, including those who use our services and members of the public
- Always develop and deliver best practice and ensure that workloads are met in a timely manner
- Competently represent the company and maintain/develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

**What you'll have**:

- Previous experience as an Administrator
- Experience within the care sector would be an advantage but not essential
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft software including Word, Excel and Teams
- Excellent customer service and organisational skills
- Strong work ethic is essential, as is a dynamic and flexible approach to the role
- Ability of dealing with conflict in a claim and supportive manner
- Be able to work as a team, alone and think outside of the box
- Willingness to learn and develop
