Social Media Executive

**The Ecommerce Team is looking for a Social Media Executive the join the Team**

**The Role**

As Majestic Wine Social Media Executive you will be responsible for supporting the Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager in driving awareness, engagement and revenue through social media tools and platforms. This will be achieved by working cross functionally across the business to implement the social media plan that supports Ecommerce and other business initiatives including Majestic Commercial, Wine Club and Stores. This is a role with high visibility across the business and you will be required to work closely with Trade planning, buying team, content, stores and retail ops, as well as external stakeholders including suppliers, trade bodies and customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Creation of social ads
- Creation and publication of organic social content
- Liaise with trade planning to ensure correct pricing, promos, and lines featured in adverts
- Liaise with content team to brief, produce and check correct content
- Develop supplier relationships to invest in social initiatives
- Develop relationships with and host weekly meetings with store social reps
- Administer store account access
- Manage the end to end creation and execution of social competitions
- Collate content from across the business
- Liaise with other teams on social initiatives
- Support business initiatives and other duties that may be required

**Knowledge & Skills Required**:

- Keen understanding and practical knowledge of the various social media channels and products
- Hunger to keep up to date with the continuously evolving world of social media
- Excellent written communication skills with an expert eye for detail and spotting data discrepancies
- Proactive thinker - we would expect you to come up with ideas to drive social performance
- Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Results and detail oriented with a strong work ethic, good team player.
- Proficient in G-suite or excel, word, powerpoint
- Wine / Wine Industry knowledge preferred

**Contract Type**: Permanent
**Location**: Our Head Office is based in Watford, just 20 minutes from London Euston. From Watford Junction, we are a 15-minute walk to our Head Office.
