Our vision is Ambitious for Redbridge, and to help us meet our challenges, the Council is shaping its service areas to meet the needs and diversity of the population. As part of the vision we have restructured our Community Health and Social Care Team to develop a new service model and are currently recruiting to a number of new and exciting posts.
You will be working within services providing front line provision for people with dementia, physical and sensory disabilities, learning disabilities and mental health. Central to this is delivery of, effective, efficient and value for money services and excellent customer care.
The admin role will predominantly be based in our Wanstead service, but you will be required to work anywhere within Redbridge if necessary.
Roles and responsibilities will include, but not be exhaustive too:
Maintain and update:
- Escort Rota
- Transport lists
- Amenity Fund
- Lunch accounts
- Petty cash
- Safe and monetary audits
- Agresso
- Abacus
- Care First SPA’s
- LBR bank accounts
- Room bookings
- Income generation
- Diary and communications
- Reception duties/meet and greet/ensure cover at all times
- Health and Safety of visitors/staff/service users
- Leading person-centred activities
- Be creative when supporting choice and control with limited resources
- Working with people to plan by identify service goals
- Provide and create value for money services and processes
- Demonstrate safeguarding when supporting clients/customers
- Empower self-support for service user’s
An understanding and/or experience of the above processes would be essential, however, training can be given to develop a deep understanding of the processes.
You will consult with service users, carer’s and families for person centred service delivery, including creating communications in an accessible format for easy read.
