**The role**
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business opportunities for the company. We are looking for someone who is fully conversant with Industrial Services, in particular,tank cleaning, high-pressure water jetting and hazardous waste.
Your role will see you account managing our current customer base as well as gaining new clients. While you will have the full support of the business you will need to be a self-starter.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Develop new and existing business opportunities, manage all aspects of the Company's interaction with their customer.
- Manage, develop and progress with new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Streamline business operations in terms of the services supplied to the Customer.
- Identify and target sales prospects and establish contact with such prospects and other accounts as assigned.
- Plan, develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote the future success of the company.
- Manage the commercial aspects of customer interaction, working with other members of the team to revenue generation, margin enhancement, cost control, budgeting, forecasting and commercial reporting.
**Skills and experience**:
- 3 - 4 years' prior industry-related business development experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies.
- Ensure exemplar levels of accuracy, compliance, customer service and commerciality.
- Focused and goal-oriented.
- Proven ability to persuade and influence others.
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations of a professional standard.
- Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven knowledge and practical experience of internal and external advertising and sales promotion techniques.
- be prepared to undertake significant travel to current and potential clients.
- A valid and clean driving license.
