We are now recruiting for an experienced Superintendent - Facilities to join our Projects team on a full time, permanent basis, and continue to be a part of our story of success by delivering Hotel projects, ensuring guests have a comfortable and pleasantexperience across the Carnival UK fleet.
**The Role**
As a Superintendent in this role you will be responsible for all projects relating to the Hotel living facilities onboard CUK ships, whether that be the replacement of a damaged carpet or a change of curtains all the way through to a full refurbishment aspart of a ship’s refit project.
You’ll carry out a core range of Project Management tasks including the setting out of project activities and milestones, identifying the resources required to achieve them and regularly reporting on progress.
In addition, you will:
- Raise capital and manage the budgets for your projects
- Build effective relationships with both onboard and shore-based colleagues, in particular Hotel Management.
- Ensure that works carried out meet essential compliance standards with relevant authorities such as Flag, Solas and Class.

**About You**
This Superintendent role is a varied and interesting one, with an exciting opportunity to make a real contribution to the guest experience.
If you’d like to take on this role you will need:
- Previous experience of Marine Hotel Refurbishment
- Experience of managing projects with a budget responsibility of up to £10m
- An understanding of the structure and requirements of Flag State, USCG, and IMO rules
