Sales Negotiator

Part of the Cox Automotive UK group, Movex provides a real-time, specialist business-to-business platform connecting vehicle transport demand with logistics supply.
**Scope of the Role**:
All customers are important and valued by Movex, and the team at Movex pride themselves on providing exceptional customer service. Reporting in to the Broker Manager, the role holder will be responsible for facilitating the completion of vehicle movements on the Movex platform.
The role holder will be expected to generate business by brokering deals between our customers and suppliers. Providing exceptional first-class service to the Movex customers and suppliers.
**Objectives for Role**:
- Be responsible for proactively generating revenue within the Movex business through negotiating with customers and suppliers.
- Work with the existing broker team to ensure accounts are serviced professionally to deliver and take full accountability and ownership resulting in a great customer experience.
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to generate business revenue ensuring they deliver a positive customer experience and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain excellent supplier and customer relationships acting as the conduit between our supplier and customer generating activity.
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets within the required time frames.
- Be responsible for account managing Key and Strategic accounts by taking ownership and accountability for individual customer performance by building exceptional customer relationships.
- Continuously improve through feedback.
- Take personal responsibility for putting the customer first and providing a relentless and excellent customer service and experience
- Identify new ways of working to support the business in working cross functionally.
- Work in collaboration with the team to meet customer requirements.
- Work with respective team members, to ensure personal / team targets are achieved against service level agreements/KPI’s
- Complete 100% of mandatory training
- Takes personal responsibility and accountability for following company procedure and policies.
- Provide additional support as required from your line manager for project work or operational support
**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**:
- Previous experience in logístical planning/operations is not essential
- Previous work experience as a member of a sales/broker team is essential
- Excellent communication, negotiating and interpersonal skills
- Prioritising, time management and organisational skills required
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks required
- Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism
- A commitment to excellent customer service essential
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment essential
- Be resourceful, inventive and self-confident
