**Daily Duties**:
Duties will include assisting customers, providing excellent customer service, loading and unloading vehicles, picking and checking orders, storing stock safely and maintaining a tidy, safe working environment. You will be working within a small close-knit team. You will also be required to be hard working, have a positive attitude and pay attention to detail. Building industry knowledge would also be advantageous along with experience managing ‘Goods in’.

**key Responsibilities**:

- Picking orders and maintaining housekeeping standards in our warehouse
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork
- Reporting any damaged or missing goods to stores management
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
- Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
- Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules.
- Assembling orders for collection or delivery
- Checking customer orders are booked out correctly
- Operating plant and machinery
- Stock management

**Required Skills / Experience**:

- Experience of working in a Warehouse
- Strong customer service approach
- Team player
- Great communication skills
- Articulate and numerate
- Able to lift reasonably heavy loads

**Preferred Skills**:

- Fork truck license
- Full driving license
- Computer literate
