Student and Academic Services at the University of Greenwich has a vacancy for a Student Visa Compliance Officer within International Compliance.

Based within the Student Visa Compliance Team, the Student Visa Compliance Officer plays a crucial role in enabling the university to deliver full compliance with UKVI regulations. The role holder will take a lead in all UKVI reporting, and oversee the visa extension process, taking decisions in accordance with the university’s sponsorship policy. The post also has responsibility for ensuring all students have permission to study in the UK for the duration of their studies, with the associated management of records and data.

This is an opportunity to develop skills in data analysis, risk management, and regulatory compliance, driving change and developing the role in a customer-friendly, pro-active manner.

With line management responsibilities for the Student Visa Compliance Assistant, this is an excellent opportunity to gain direct management experience. Under the guidance of the Student Visa Compliance Manager, you will be fully supported in learning how to delegate, lead, and develop a team.

Due to the nature of this role, and the fact that it will require Home Office clearance to access the UKVI Sponsor Management System, we are unfortunately unable to consider any applicant who will require a Certificate of Sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route of the Points Based Immigration System. The successful applicant will be required to undertake a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
