**Overview**

**Duties**
As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

- Providing personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Supporting individuals with dementia care and behaviour management to enhance their quality of life.
- Assisting with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary to ensure client safety and comfort.
- Engaging clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and emotional well-being.
- Driving clients to appointments or social outings as required.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in patient care, childcare, or home care settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with assisted living environments and hospice care practices is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A compassionate approach towards supporting individuals with varying needs, including those requiring dementia care.
- The ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £11.45 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
