We are looking for a creative individual to join our well established and skilled team, working under supervision and learning all aspects of hard and soft landscaping. Manor Landscapes is based in Guildford and we work mainly in Guildford and the surrounding areas. Manor Landscapes is a member of the APL and has been in operation for over 30 years. We build and maintain award winning high end gardens whilst working alongside some highly accredited garden designers.

You will receive on-the-job training and off-site specific skill training as necessary. Applicants need to be fit, punctual, have a keen eye for detail, have a positive attitude and is a good time keeper, Be able to demonstrate a keen interest in hard/soft landscaping and horticulture, be hard working, self-motivated, ambitious and willing to learn. Enjoy manual work, be keen to work outdoors, have a creative mind and pay attention to detail. Possess good organisational skills, be able to work individually and in a team, be flexible in working hours. Immediate start possible, pay dependent on experience, offering company pension. Have a good command of English language, Driving licence would be advantageous
- Full time position available starting immediately your duties may include:
**Skills**:

- Assisting in the carrying out of landscaping work including the construction, creation of paths, steps, paved areas, walls, fences, lawns and pergolas
- Preparation for landscape construction and cleaning debris
- Maintaining gardens e.g. grass mowing, edging, litter picking, general pruning, sweeping, and maintenance of plant borders.
- Arranging and planting trees, shrubs, plants and bedding

Health and Safety:

- Health and Safety in the work place - keeping your colleagues and yourself safe
- Becoming conversant and skilled in the use of hand tools, pedestrian machines and appropriate powered hand tools.
- Undertaking routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment using appropriate equipment

Working hours between 7.30am and 4.30pm daily.

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
