***JAB Design is an Architectural Practice based in the centre of Sutton Coldfield working largely on residential projects from a domestic level, bespoke new build dwellings and small to medium sized developments. We also work on projects in the Educationsector and Commercial projects.

**Your new role**

JAB Design has an immediate vacancy for a Senior Architectural Technician/Technologist to join our team in Sutton Coldfield, on a full-time basis.

**Skills and responsibilities for this Senior Architectural Technician**:

- Able to take a proactive approach to problem solving and not require supervision
- Ability to multi-task and assist on multiple projects at one time
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Carry out design risk assessments
- Evaluate the health and safety of design
- In depth understanding of building technology
- Experience of Residential and Commercial projects
- Archicad Experience desirable

**Essentials needed for this Senior Architectural Technician**:

- Excellent design skills
- A good track record of producing technical drawings and details for tender and construction
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- AutoCAD Experience desirable
- Good organisational and presentational skills
- Strong understanding of building technology
- Full UK Driving licence

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)
- HNC / HND / BTEC National Diploma
- Other Appropriate Qualifications considered

**Experience**:

- 5 years or more (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work authorisation:

- United Kingdom (preferred)

**Employment Type**

Full-time 40 hours pw
