**As a Senior Early Years Practitioner your role will be to Deputise for the Nursery Room Leader and support the Nursery Manager with the running of the Nursery.**

**To be considered for this role, you must hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)**

**Pay**: £26,603 - £26,603 per Annum. based on experience (_40 hours per week_).
**Working Hours**:Monday to Friday - Full time 40 hours over 4 or 5 days, Monday to Friday (flexible)

**About our Nursery**

Our Northfield nursery is right in the heart of our community. Inside, the nursery has six rooms which are equally split into areas to accommodate babies, toddlers and pre-school. All the rooms have plenty of space to explore and investigate, as well as to promote children’s curiosity and their drive to learn new things. We are located in a quiet residential area of Northfield, just off the A38 and a short distance from Northfield Train Station, providing easy access for anyone commuting into Birmingham. Parking is available outside for convenience.

**What Your Role Involves**

As a valued member of our team, you’ll:

- Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
