**We are looking for experienced CNC Lathe/Milling machine setter / operator to join our manufacturing team.**

You will be working with various CNC controls and machines to manufacture precision parts both low and hi volume to a high-quality standard while maintaining the company’s Heath & Safety requirements.

**About The Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Program, set or operate CNC lathes and milling machines
- Assist with selection of appropriate tooling including cutting data to achieve optimal cycle times
- Interpret engineering drawings to manufacture precision components
- Inspect and verify finished parts to ensure quality requirements are met using various measuring equipment
- Machine low and hi volume parts with a focus on accuracy
- Troubleshoot machining issues and contribute to process improvement
- Maintain production outputs & demands whilst keeping quality records
- Carry out routine preventative maintenance
- Assist cross training with fellow employees
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements

**Required Criteria**
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in CNC turning and / or milling both operating and setting.
- Proficient in reading detailed engineering drawings.
- Experience working with large and small size components.
- Strong problem solving & organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work overtime should need arise.
- Good Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety regulations

**Skills Needed**

Quality Control, Teamwork, Design drawing, Time Management

Hours of work are flexible, desired minimum hours of 36 hours made up over Mon - Thur.

Overtime available at the weekend also

Pay: £19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
