Their proprietary technology allows the precise engineering and production of every type of human cell at an industrial scale and is capable to use the activity of specific transcription factors in the cells. Their cell production ensures consistency, scale,speed, and high purity that is unprecedented compared to other current technologies.

You would be joining the Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) team to work on the development of bioanalytical assays for the process development, scale-up and optimisation of clinical-grade cell products. Working closely with the R&D, clinical, andquality teams, you would be a key part of bringing the products from the concept to the manufacturing.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Bioanalytical assay design, development, troubleshooting, process optimisation, GMP production
- Functionality evaluation of _in vitro _assays in biological matrices
- Statistical analysis of experimental data
- Execution of cell-based and _in vitro _assays, ELISA, MSD, qPCR, protein analysis, cell-based activity and others
- Maintenance of documentation, electronic lab books, procedures and study reports, lab data presentation, scientific discussions in meetings

**Skills and requirements**:

- **For Senior Scientist**:PhD in Bioengineering, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or similar field or BSc/MSc in relevant area with significant experience
- **For Scientist**:degree in Bioengineering, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or similar field with hands-on experience in industry
- Direct industrial experience in PK and ADA assay development, optimisation, validation, troubleshooting - essential
- Familiar with current industry best practice relating to cell & gene therapy
- hiPSC experience, characterization, culture systems
- Experience in developing, optimising and implementing procedures, protocols, workflows in quality management environment
- Knowledge of data package and reports required to move processes to clinical manufacturing - desired
- Flow cytometry - desired
- LEAN, 5S, QMS experience - desired
