Band 6 Acute Occupational Therapist: Hunter AHP have an opportunity for an experienced Acute Occupational Therapist to secure a 6 month locum contract, in a, fast pace hospital environment. The service provides Inpatient care for patients in the Essex area.

Acute Occupational Therapists work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary therapy team, with excellent facilities.

**Key responsibilities of the Acute Occupational Therapy role as follows**:

- To undertake the comprehensive specialist assessment of patients, including those with a complex presentation, using investigative and analytical skills and standardised assessments where applicable.
- To assess patient understanding of treatment proposals, gain valid informed consent and work within a legal framework with patients who lack capacity to consent to treatment.
