We are recruiting a temporary **Parts Assistant (6 Months FTC)** at our HQ in **Hebburn**, who will focus on expediting orders and ensuring the timely availability of production parts

**Responsibilities**:

- Administering documentation in accordance with company purchasing and compliance requirements.
- Ensure goods are purchased from reputable suppliers.
- Participating in supplier audits.
- Liaise with suppliers for placing, expediting and returning orders.
- Check and book in incoming goods.
- Verifying outgoing parts to ensure accuracy of orders and returns.
- Create purchase orders for production parts in line with production demand.
- General troubleshooting including liaising with suppliers and/or production for missing parts etc.
- Complete several reports, including returns and parts returns for production and service.
- Provide data for the production tracker report.
- Attend daily production meetings to discuss parts requirements.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- _Essential_
- Previous experience gained from working within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent IT skills, being proficient with MS Office and in particular Excel and Outlook.
- Strong communication, organisation and planning skills.
- Excellent time management skills, be a forward thinker with the capability to plan ahead.
- Ability to work under pressure, with the aptitude to think on your feet and resolve issues.
- Ability to produce accurate reports.
- Preferred_
- Ability to build rapport with managers, colleagues and customers.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Counterbalance and Reach FLT Licences (in-house training can be provided).
