An amazing opportunity for a **SEN teaching assistant** has just come available, working within a Special secondary school. The school offers a **therapeutic **approach to learning, which understands their individual needs.

The Holistic curriculum encompasses everything in school they do to support the pupils' learning and social and emotional wellbeing. This curriculum includes life skills, community access and careers and therapies. This is a key element to our school curriculum provision.

Your role will involve offering classroom support to teachers, ensuring the students are achieving personal and academic goals. Must have excellent communication skills, and be mouldable to work under pressure.

The headteacher is looking for an **experienced **individual, who can demonstrate excellent **communication skills** in addition to **knowledge **of needs including **SEMH **and **behavioural management**. You must bring a **positive attitude** to the environment and be an outstanding role model for students.

This is a **supply** position, where you can be on stand by to cover staff absence, which means you can work flexibly. There would be an opportunity to develop into a **permanent position** in the school if you can demonstrate to be an excellent addition to the team.
