**Support Worker**: Brighouse/Halifax area

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour + mileage

**Hours**: Part Time hours with potential to increase

Full driving licence and car required for this role

We have a fantastic opportunity to work with a some amazing individuals who live within the community who require support to access services and to be involved in the activities that they enjoy.

We are currently looking for someone who would be able to support a young adult with cerebral palsy who is a wheelchair user, H likes fitness and going to the gym as well as visiting a variety of different places and would like support and companionship to be able to do this.

You would be required to help the gentleman in collapsing his wheelchair and moving it in and out of the car and supporting with gym sessions so a good level of health and fitness is required for this role.

This role is for 10 hours a week initially but there are other opportunities for these hours to increase. For these particular support sessions, they would be on an evening after 5pm and alternative Saturdays or Sunday.

For this position you must have a background in care and support, and also you will be able to work on your own initiative and also have an engaging personality.
