**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Accurately maintain financial transactions for multiple clients and ensure data integrity.
- Create customer invoices and manage receipts
- Provide support for the payroll department
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Support our team of accountants with providing accurate financial information for our clients.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and Company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably in an accountancy firm.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Recent experience in processing payroll on behalf of clients.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
- Vast knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £23,000.00 per year
