We are a family run haulage firm on the outskirts of Leeds (LS15) and are looking to recruit an Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our busy accounts department reporting to the Financial Controller.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Purchase ledger - collate / match / check / enter / scan purchase invoices.
- Processing / checking self-billing accounts.
- Cash postings.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Chasing authorisation of invoices and liaising with suppliers / customers.
- Ad-hoc office / administration duties and general support to the Financial Controller.
- Previous experience within a similar role and ability to take ownership.
- Excellent communication and ‘customer facing’ skills, written and oral.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong IT user and must be confident using Excel.
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Qualified by experience, with at least 12 months experience in a similar role. AAT qualifications would be an advantage.
