**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery confirmations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or issues promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving to ensure safety on the road.
- Assist in the warehouse when not on deliveries, including inventory management and organisation.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving vans is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in managing delivery schedules.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
