This is an exciting opportunity an Assistant Psychologist to work with Flintshire and Wrexham multi-disciplinary child and adolescent mental health teams (CAMHS) and the newly developing CAMHS Schools In-Reach Service on a fixed-term basis in supporting early intervention and prevention by increasing emotional and mental health provision within educational and community settings across North Wales. The main focus of the role will be to support the introduction, maintenance and evaluation of the Friends Resilience programmes, a cognitive-behavioural approachFriends Resilience.

This post will enable the post-holder to develop a wide range of clinical, project coordination and evaluation skills. The position will suit an individual who is self-motivated, an excellent communicator and data competent, with an interest in quality improvement, an understanding of child development and mental health, and a passion to support services for children, young people and their families.

You will work closely with the local CAMHS lead for early intervention and prevention, as well as with colleagues and partners in Local Authority and community settings where Friends Resilience and other early interventions are being delivered.

This post is fixed term for 12 months to meet the needs of the service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
