Looked After Children's Social Worker

Seven Social Care is working with Deborah Adams at Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council to recruit for a qualified social worker in their Looked after Children Team in Children's Services.
Previous experience in Looked after Children or Court is desirable but not essential.
The hours are 9 - 5 Monday - Friday 37 hours per week.
Pay ranges from £27.53 - £32.34 per hour as per West Midlands capped rates.
There is a permanent Management Group in place to support the team.We are a committed and helpful team who put the needs of children and young people first in all we do.

**Job Purpose**:
You will be working with a busy and supportive Looked After Children's Team.We are committed to monthly supervision to all members of the team.

**Applicant Requirements**:
- **Qualifications**: Degree approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- **Experience**: 12 months/1 year Post Qualifying experience minimum working with children as a qualified Social Worker in the UK.
- **Compliance**: Up to date HCPC registration and DBS.
- **Travel**: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
- **Hours**: 37 hours p/w.
