**We are an events catering company looking for a full time sandwich maker/kitchen assistant to work at our HQ in Beckenham. This is a great role for someone who wants to have a key role in the kitchen and to be involved in a growing company.**

**The role**:

- Responsible for the planning and preparation of sandwich orders
- Preparing finger buffets as directed by the section chef
- Clearing down kitchen areas
- Making sure deliveries are ready for clients accurately and on time
- Five days a week (6am-2pm would be the average core hours, but can be adjusted to suit the needs of the business)

**The individual must**:

- Have a logical and methodical approach to their workload
- Be able to work well and effectively under pressure
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to work well in a team but also have the ability and confidence to work alone
- Have worked in a similar fast-paced kitchen environment, and show skill in learning quickly to a high standard
- Be self-motivated and able to manage their workload and time effectively
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude and want to exceed expectations
- Be friendly and good humoured
- A full clean driving license would be advantageous

**We are**:

- A small established catering company, providing delivered sandwiches, lunches and finger buffets to local businesses and corporate clients
- Part of a larger events catering company that has been in business for over 30 years
- Based in Beckenham, close to New Beckenham, Kent House and Lower Sydenham Stations
- £13.50 hourly rate


Pay: £28,080.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London BR3 1QZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- catering: 1 year (preferred)
- cooking: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)
