**The position**:
Our Client is seeking a creative and strategically-minded campaigner with previous management experience to drive progressive change for millions of farmed animals. You will be part of a small, high-impact team specialising in corporate and political campaigningand advocacy. This is a new role being created for our expanding Campaigns team.

This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

**Who you are**:
As Campaigns Manager you will be passionate about their mission of ending the abuse of animals raised for food. You will report to the Head of Programs and will be managing a small team of campaigners with the primary focus to deliver corporate and legislativecampaigns. You will help support the planning, management and coordination of activities within your team and ensure close collaboration with others at THL UK to deliver successful hard-hitting campaigns.

You will be a personable, highly motivated, experienced campaigner with the ability to multitask. Developing strategies, plans and tactics, you’ll be well organised, innovative and a good problem-solver. You’ll have the ability to work independently andas a member of a team in a fast-paced environment that welcomes creativity and be able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.

**Primary Duties**:
**Management**

Manages the campaigners
- Ensures staff receive the training, resources and support to do their jobs effectively
- Manages and leads Campaigns staff to achieve agreed objectives and to encourage the professional development of individual team members
- Delegates responsibilities to Campaigns staff to reach our campaign objectives
- Sets/clarifies job expectations and provides regular feedback & guidance
- Empowers staff in the development of their strategies and techniques
- Manages time off requests and approval of expenses for the Campaigns staff
- Leads hiring/promoting/termination of Campaigns staff
- Contributes to building the budget for the Campaigns team
- Sets/manages call agendas or delegates as appropriate

**Strategy**

Leads, manages and develops all our UK campaigning activities
- Develops internal campaign strategy through research, current events, and working with other organisations
- Leads and manages corporate and political campaign implementation
- Coordinates monitoring and evaluation of ongoing campaigns
- Works closely with other teams to ensure effective collaboration
- Works with the Programs department and other departments to ensure effective strategic alignment
- Analyses & reports on effectiveness of activities delivered by the team and conducts regular debriefs
- Researches and stays on top of developments in campaigning strategy

**Communication**
- Works closely with the Organising, Corporate Relations and Policy team to ensure effective strategic alignment alongside other departments as needed
- Works cohesively with team members, intra
- and inter-departmentally to coordinate on campaign targets and actions
- Presents to the board of trustees, as required, on key updates in campaigns
- Acts as a spokesperson for the organisation

**In Addition**
- Attend conferences, events, protests and actions as required
- Participate in team meetings including note-taking and facilitation
- Attend in-person workshops several times a year
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Programs
