That’s where you come in **The Role** As a Service Improvement Labourer, you’ll be tasked with assisting with general building works, including carpentry and labouring. Initially working at our Castle Donington facility and potentially moving to other sites (with colleagues), you will: - Assist with renovations - Provide general labouring including site preparation and clearance - Lifting and carrying heavy objects and materials - Performing general maintenance activities - Maintaining tools and equipment - Use power tools and machinery when needed As part of your role, you will be required to travel with colleagues to various Medstrom sites, with some possible stays away (hotels arranged by Medstrom). **About You** To join us as a Service Improvement Labourer, you will need or be willing to develop: - The ability to use own initiative and perform tasks as agreed - To be resilient and hardworking - Some previous experience in building, carpentry or labouring type roles - Comfortable staying away if needed for the role (accommodation provided) - A DBS check (or the willingness to complete one if required) - A proactive, 'can-do’ attitude A driving licence would be an advantage but is not essential. Other organisations may call this role Carpenter, General Hand, General Labourer, Skilled Labourer, Building Labourer, or Ground Worker.
