**About the opportunity**:
AXIOM is one of the DSA alliance partners and is an unincorporated Joint Venture (JV) made up of four major engineering contracting companies each with complementary capabilities and skills. The members have excellent nuclear pedigrees, demonstrated expertise and effective track records across the UK nuclear fleet and related nuclear industries.

The extensive capacity and capabilities of the AXIOM alliance provide the essential expertise that is crucial to achieving both the designs of the alliance and the wider goals of Sellafield Ltd and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA).

We are looking for an Accounts Officer to join our team at Birchwood Park, Warrington.

**Some of your duties will be**:

- Deputise for the Accounts Manager during periods of absence
- Maintenance of Financial Trackers - Sales, Subcon, ITI and Credit Cards
- Liaising with Cost Engineers to resolve queries/discrepancies/approve payments
- Liaising with Supplier and Partner on Invoice queries
- Maintaining accurate creditor and debtor control
- Raising Sales Invoices
- Enter and process financial data in line with the HMRC guidelines
- Management of SAGE input
- Prepare CHAPS payments using the JV bank account
- Cover or assist in roles within the Business Support Team
- Any other duties as directed by the Business Support Team

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Relevant work experience in an Accounting environment.
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Accurate data entry skills
- Good Excel skills
