**The team**
The People & Culture team is responsible for ensuring that Schroders maximises the return on its investment in people and does this through the development and implementation of policies and practices that attract, reward, and retain high quality employees, to achieve business objectives in line with our values and strategic goals.

**Who we're looking for**
We're looking for an Executive Compensation Specialist to support our Head of Executive Compensation and HR Risk. This role will focus on providing expertise in executive compensation strategies and practices, emphasizing collaboration within the team and proactive management of the Remuneration Committee process.

**What you'll be like**
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and diplomacy skills with the ability to work successfully both as part of a team and independently;
- Strong attention to detail, running analysis and models and getting data right first time;
- Strong judgment, making sound recommendations based on relevant qualitative and quantitative data;
- Committed to excellence and continuous improvement;
- Understanding the need for confidentiality in dealing with all HR issues and
- An ability and desire to contribute to the wider People & Culture agenda.

**What you'll do**
- Proactively manage the Remuneration Committee process, including drafting Remuneration Committee papers, running relevant analysis and coordinating with key stakeholders;
- Assist in the development of executive compensation strategies and frameworks within the organization. Contribute towards program design and implementation;
- Assist with the Directors' Remuneration Report, including design, drafting and collation of figures;
- Assist with governance and sustainability related projects;
- Contribute to ad hoc data analysis in collaboration with our People & Culture data analytics team;
- Assistance drafting wider governance papers, for example for regulated subsidiary boards and
- Seek out insights from external networks and share knowledge, insights, and best practices with team members to drive collective growth.

**The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need**
- Experience in executive compensation, gained from either in-house or consulting environments;
- Knowledge of regulations impacting UK listed companies;
- Financial literacy, including familiarity with accountancy/finance concepts;
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate advice and make recommendations aligned with best practices and organisational objectives and
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

**The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help**
- Knowledge of global remuneration regulations impacting listed and financial services organisations;
- Experience in retail and alternative asset management sectors;
- Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) and technology platforms such as Oracle and Anaplan and
- Passion for AI including strong prompt engineering skills.
