**Company Description**

We are a market-leading 3PL food and drink specialist. Culina Logistics ensures that refrigerated goods are stored and shipped in tightly regulated conditions.

We are now recruiting for a Driver Trainer on a full time, permanent basis at our Bristol depot.

As a Driver Trainer you will be expected to deliver driver related training, evaluate and monitor the impact of training on Culina Logistics Drivers.

Shift Monday to Friday

Main responsilbities of a Driver Trainer
- Deliver in house, periodic Driver CPC training.
- Deliver training relating to drivers’ hours / tachographs / Working Time Directive rules and regulations to new starters and existing drivers
- Use Fueltek and Microlise performance statistics and deliver training to proactively manage the driver performance
- Provide new starter training / Inductions
- Monitor and evaluate all training provided, assessing Culina needs and ensuring all needs are met at all times
- Report (both verbal and written) on the ability and performance of drivers following all driver training courses undertaken, using counselling and coaching techniques as required
- Keep and maintain up to date and accurate records of all driver training undertaken
- Liaise with the Transport Management team as necessary in order to maximise benefits for all training provided, ensuring that all training is relevant and in line with best practice
- Monitor the standard of Culina Drivers driving and provide information, advice and guidance to departments such as H&S, Transport and HR
- Complete risk assessments and safe working practices for Culina sites customer sites and delivery points

**Qualifications**

Essential
- Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours
- Essential skills in LGV C&E Driving Licence
- Adaptable approach to work / training
- Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information to trainees
- Adaptable attitude, conscientious and reliable
- Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines
- Able to work as part of a team or individually

Desirable
- Qualified to Advanced Driving level would be desirable
