**£110 to 130 per day + **25p per mile + parking expenses** - Limited Company or PAYE/Umbrella (contractor can choose)
3 months initially, but likely to be long-term
Mon to Fri, 9am-5pm

**Overview**
We have a great opportunity for a field based Desktop Support Engineer / 1st & 2nd Line Technical Support Engineer who is happy to support users in Southampton primarily and also across Hampshire.
This role will suit Desktop Support Engineers / 1st & 2nd Line Technical Support Engineers who have excellent customer service skills and enjoy troubleshooting in a Microsoft environment (circa 5,000 users).
We are able to engage with Desktop Support Engineers who operate as Limited Company/Outside IR35 contractors.

**Duties**:

- Responsible for installation, deployment and 2nd line desktop support
- Building user machines to the latest build
- Repairing and refurbishing machines
- Providing project support to users for any post-build or deployment related issues
- Resolving issues by providing desk-side support
- Co-ordinating workload with fellow engineers
- Undertaking ad-hoc desktop project work

**Requirements**:

- Desktop support experience
- Experience of troubleshooting and desk-side user support
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
