**Role - Senior Safety Case Specialist**
Package - £42,650- £67,400 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)
Location - Reading / Basingstoke area

Our safety case teams are at the forefront of a wide variety of work, involving ground-breaking innovation and technical challenges across a wide range of projects associated with:
- AWE's multibillion-pound Capital Programme of new facilities
- Planning future systems in support of the UK's long-term strategic deterrent.
- Maintaining and extending the life of existing facilities
- Decommissioning of the redundant facilities.
- Produce risk assessments and safety justifications for a range of facilities including radioactive, explosives and chemical plant
- Advise on strategies for the development of safety assessments (safety case/safety basis/risk assessments)
- Complete complex safety analyses, assessments, and associated documentation.
To be considered for this position you will need:
- Experience in the field of safety assessment for radiological, chemical and/or explosive hazards
- The ability to undertake a range of safety assessment techniques
- To have worked/operated in a high hazard and/or highly regulated industry.
