**JOB TITLE: Co-ordinator Ryedale**

**RESPONSIBLE TO: The Chief Officer / RCS Trustees**

**SUPERVISION BY: The Chief Officer**

**The Co-ordinator will need to**:
**Sitting and Visiting Service**
- **Accept referrals from statutory and voluntary organisations and from carers and those in needthemselves.**:

- **Assess the needs of carers, people who they care for and those living alone who are lonely and isolated in so far as is appropriate to the work of RCS/ CTW.**:

- **Refer to other agencies as appropriate.**:

- **Recruit and vet suitable volunteers and arrange their relevant training and support.**:

- **Match suitable volunteers to clients and provide ongoing monitoring and support for each arrangement.**:

- **Keep accurate records of contacts with clients and volunteers.**

**Events**
- **Attend and assist with the smooth running of monthly events.**:

- **Arrange the bookings and organise the transport (minibus and volunteer drivers).**:

- **Assess the ability of the client to attend events with the minimum risk to the organisation and carry out a risk assessment of the venues**:

- **Keep accurate records of attendees in order to complete the necessary monitoring and evaluation forms.**:

- **Co-ordinate on
- line activities via zoom**

**General Duties**:

- **Liaise with relevant statutory and voluntary agencies.**:

- **Attend occasional weekend or evening events.**:

- **Undertake home visits.**:

- **Participate in regular 1:1 and team meetings.**:

- **Provide regular reports as required by the Trustees.**

**The above indicates the range of duties to be undertaken by the Co-ordinator. Obviously, the actual duties undertaken each day or over a longer period will vary according to demand, identified needs and any other duties agreed by the Manager.**

**Travel expenses of 42p a mile will be paid. Own car essential.**

**Base: Hybrid (office and home)**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £13.70 per hour

Expected hours: 28 per week
