We’re looking for an experienced and highly organised Production Planner to join our client, a leading food manufacturing company, and play a key role in the planning and smoothing running of the production process at their Coventry facility.

You would work 7 12 hour shifts, 0600-1800, over a 14 day period; Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday one week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the following week. Offering a salary of circa £32,000 plus great benefits package including various well-being initiatives to encourage positive mental health both in and out of the workplace, staff discounts and rewards scheme, plus much more.

- **Responsibilities**
As a Production Planner you would support the Planning Team with day to day and weekly planning duties, ensuring production plans fit within factory capacities. Key responsibilities will include
- Production Line Planning
- Internal planning from goods into dispatch
- Communication with customers and suppliers
- Feedstock and raw material planning
- Conducting stock checks

The Production Planner role will suit an adaptable, reliable and self-motived individual looking for an opportunity to play an important role within a fast-paced production environment. You must have
- Strong understanding of manufacturing planning processes and systems
- Able to produce realistic and detailed working schedules, high standard of planning and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on own initiative
- The ability to manage your time and workload efficiently and effectively
- Confident, builds rapport with peers internally and externally, works cross functionally across other depts
- Strong IT skills; Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc, plus good typing skills
