We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Deterministic Quantitative Methods (DQM) Risk Steward within Model Risk Management (MRM), which is part of Enterprise Risk Management.

**In this role, you will**:

- Collaborate with Risk & Control Owners to drive effective MRM and provide oversight to the first-line’s adoption of DQM Policy and Procedure.
- Lead stakeholder engagement for DQM related risk stewardship across the region/business/function to embed strong risk management practices ensuring proactive risk identification and mitigation.
- Assist in the performance of assurance on the DQM controls, identifying risks and timely resolution.
- Provide advice, guidance and training on DQM Lifecycle, enhancing risk awareness and compliance.
- Perform thematic reviews, reporting the outcome ensuring regulatory changes, internal and external audit feedback are effectively addressed.

**To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements**:

- Proven experience in Risk Stewardship, with an understanding of DQM governance, policy and procedures.
- Experience in model/DQM/EUC risk management or validation, experience in model or complex calculator development is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and drive collaboration across teams.
- Ability to analyse and interpret regulatory changes, embedding best practises within risk framework.
- Excellent communications skills, with the confidence to provide advice and challenge to 1LOD queries

The base location for this role is Birmingham requirement to be in the office at least twice a week.
